We at Lina KS have been dealing with the mining of humic acid and the production of various lignite products in Kosovo since 2008. Humic acid is a substance from the deposits of lignite with a high degree of oxidation and thus a high proportion of humic acids valuable for agriculture. Humic acids are complex chemical compounds that are formed during the degradation processes of biological material. They are essential soil conditioners that increase the yield of arable land. The soil is thus able to store water over a longer period of time and fertilizer can be absorbed more effectively by the plants.
